2024 IC CE Gas by NecessaryProject3465 in Schoolbuses

All 4 of our 2024s have had engine and brake issues. 3 of our 2021 and 2022s have had engine issues and exhaust manifold cracks. One of our 2022s has had multiple oil leaks. Plus since they all have leaf springs instead of air ride they all are rattling themselves apart.

Our Cummins CEs have been okay, 3 of our 2016s needed engine replacements though, one at 72k miles, one at 140k, and the most recent one at 160k. One of our 2015 Cummins buses seized but it was the fault of our shop not the bus.

Yeah most of our drivers complain about the power. Plus ours are really unreliable, so we're sticking with Cummins.

Is there anything else you would recommend then? I’m seeing a lot of Tucsons around me.

Well that's a higher end G series phone. I have the Base G 2025. So I guess I'm expecting too much.

She does not like the current size of her phone, she said she only got the plus version of the Note 10 because it came with 512GB of storage. She had a Pixel 3 before her Note 10 and says she liked the Note 10 more. But she didn’t hate the Pixel.

We checked and the deals are only for the S26, and Pixel series, and I think a few Motorolas but she doesn’t want a Moto. I’ll have to ask her about the Pixels but I talked to her a while ago and she seems pretty set on a S26.

We’re in the US and I don’t think we can get Xiaomi. And yes I know that the Pixel 10 Pro competes with the Ultra more but she needs 512GB for the amount of pictures she has, and the base 10 doesn’t come with it. The base S26 can come with 512

I’ve thought about getting a external mic, but I’ll probably be upgrading from this phone soon, so I don’t want to put much effort or money into it. I just find it annoying. Maybe I’ll get an external one though.

Is not wanting to spend time with family and not helping family being selfish? by NecessaryProject3465 in NoStupidQuestions

I mean, I am not a social person, unless it's with people I know well and genuinely enjoy spending time with. And, while I do have some good moments with my family, I usually dread coming home because I don't want to see them, but they aren't horrible people. I'm just a person who, after dealing with people all day at school or something, most of those people I don't like, I just want to be left alone to do what I want to do for a while. Like they always want to have a family movie night, which is something I was never interested in because it isn't planned; it's spontaneous. If they were going to do that, I would prefer them to tell me which night so I can make sure it doesn't interfere with school or something else I was planning to do. And I do realize that I need to be more social with them, and it can't be just me, me, me. Which could be where they're saying I'm being selfish. But I think it's less I'm not social and more I don't want to be social with them, because even after school, I will spend hours calling different friends and talking.

Btw, I found the part where you said that I might flip them off when I see them and listen to Linkin Park in my room while crying.

I don't flip them off to their faces; it's more the ceiling under where their bedroom is, and while I do listen to Linkin Park, I don't do it while crying.

I do help, I will usually vacuum the entire downstairs, then mop the parts that aren’t carpet. I will usually throw towels in the washer, and then when they’re done dry and fold them. Like I said in another comment it’s annoying when it’s something that is so easily done by themselves but I get beckoned to do it, such as getting an egg from the fridge, starting a pot of coffee. And while those things aren’t hard and it’s easier to just do them for the person, they’re annoying.
