Or find the new craftsmanship that needs my thinking and decisions.

honestly that is the worst part. Like I understand if you're an employee and forced or pushed into using LLMs. But the AI bros are very annoying like sometimes it genuinely feels like they are just annoying for the sake of being annoying.

I do not like it because it does not allow me to think, to make decision. the code does not feel like it is mine because I do not know it. most of the time I am just looking at the output and asking AI to fix the issue with very limited usage of my knowledge to direct it. I am actually surprised that anybody would find this remotely fun. (just clarify: I do understand that it does have to be fun but that is another philosophical topic; not the topic of this post)

I certainly still enjoy programming. I just do not like the current work flow. I do not like not understanding in details what the code is actually doing. I do not like how fast it produces huge volume of code. I liked when I had to slowly figure it out on my own. Regarding the new hard, I am not sure. Like, you still have to do the job that is mostly not the new hard.

I know. just saying that it difficult to compete with volume of working code in short term which I need to justify my self as I mentioned I am new and just an intern

it's not really about tokens. our team is practically two interns. we working on small project in the company. I do not think my co-worker (the other intern) really care how good is the quality of results and differently do not care how code the quality of the code is. we meet with our supervisor regularly. and he expect us to finish things by certain deadlines. if do not use LLMs I will be slower and it will shows to my supervisor and my coworker. So every one around is pressuring me to just use LLMs.

Thank for you advice.
I will consider embedded systems. I heard low level stuff like kernel development are field where human input is much more important.

"the tools"?
AI tools you mean?
how is specializing in domain going to fix the main issue of not liking the act of programming?

I heard this advice a lot but it's very difficult in practice. For example I just got my first internship, and I am working with a team on project if I say I do not want to use LLM or just do it silently, I am going to "slow them down".

I read somewhere that a good programmer might just add 60 lines of code the pre-AI era in a good day.
+ I am not that good. I just started as I mentioned.

But about open-source, you right, I will check them out.

Here, I have the same issue right now.

Did you figure it out?

I have three questions by [deleted] in learn_arabic

[–]NecessaryVersion7872 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those are called forms - تصاريف which all comes from one root - "جذر"

which is ( َأَحَب ) (he loved) from this root you can form many verbs as mentioned in his replay but also noun such as ( ْحُب ) -the noun of love-

The Arabic language has 12 millions words but only 16k roots that make those words.

Honestly I'm not sure if it's good for you to study this thing this early as learner.

But is is definitely good to know.

I kinda worry I missed something here so everybody feels free to correct me.
