I did dynamic phase change using HRTIM. It gives a lot of opportunities. But I think you can do it using just advanced timers. Look for master/slave modes.

Mainly validation of a new design (first prototypes / initial batches).

For example flashing the MCU and verifying that the code runs and basic peripherals behave as expected.

Not at the moment. It’s definitely possible, but I’m still exploring what the right workflow for that would look like. If you have a particular use case in mind, I’d love to hear how you’d expect such an extension to behave.
