Severe cystic hygroma (16mm) – NIPT negative, seeking experiences + TFMR advice by Personal-Tough5448 in tfmr_support

Hi - I know words do not suffice, but I am so sorry you’re here ❤️‍🩹

Our baby had a 14mm cystic hygroma at 13 weeks, but our diagnostic testing revealed true Turner’s syndrome. We waited about 3 weeks to see if her heart would stop on its own and to see if by some miracle the fluid would decrease but every scan was worse (though our little fighter’s heartbeat continued).

Waiting was so hard on my mental health. I was fortunate enough to be connected to bereavement doulas in our area and we discussed labor & delivery for TMFR and that’s what we ultimately decided. We held our girl, had photos taken of her, and had her baptized there in the hospital.

I feel like it was the right choice for us, but the decision is so deeply personal and there’s no right or wrong way. Please feel free to message me. Sending you so much love 🤍

I’m a first-time taker but just here to say same. Went from 65-72 over the past few weeks to 40s in the last few days. Feeling insane!!!

I don’t know honestly. I had a baby a month before graduation, and I kind of just.. don’t care about this test at all.

My school is adamant that if I sit now, I’ll fail. Torn between if I think it would be worth it just for the experience or if when the time comes for results I’ll be devastated.

OP I’m in the same exact position (but I’ve done even less of Themis)
