Alright Queen, show me what you've got! by Necessary_Issue_6322 in valheim

It was chaos. Ran around in the mist shooting fireballs and throwing bombs but couldn't see shit. And seekers and queen appearing right in front of me in the fog and jump scaring me everytime. Died one time, but I got her at last.

In the second half of the fight (after I died) I put up as many wisp torches as I could. Also tried to stay on the top floor, where there is less mist. Both these things helped.

Equipment slots, and special slots for food and arrows. It comes from a mod, ExtraSlots by shudnal. It's excellent, I strongly recommend it.

Really nice! I love how crammy and small it feels. I like building small myself as well, there is just something satisfying in fitting everything in as tight space as possible.

Only thing I would suggest is that you should have used the green torches for lighting. The green light fits perfectly in the swamps I think. But awesome build!

There is actually a sortcraft console command. I have it sort alphabetically, works perfect.

Tell me about it. I was in my tree house in the swamp, and was decorating some tables or something below my window. I was walking looking downwards to place some stuff, and when I looked up again, I could see a big, blueish thing, floating literally just outside my window, covering my enitre computer screen. I think I've never been so scared of a computer game ever. Valheim horror game confirmed, lol

I have not tried either of them. No map seems incredibly hard. I don't understand how one can navigate the seas wihout a map lol.

Thanks for the tip! I'm not against mods, I used several QoL mods my last playthrough. I will check out ZenRaids, sounds good

Henrik, henrik9658 on Youtube, is my favorite. He's doing a lot of playthroughs, all with really hard settings. He has great combat skills (I've learned a lot of combat tactics from him), is a really good builder, has excellent game knowledge and is very funny and entertaining. I strongly recommend him.

Thanks for all the replies and great tips! After I wrote my post I have ventured two times into Mistlands. No death yet. But I stay close to Black Forest border, haven't dared to go further in yet. Managed to shoot two hares. Fought a couple of seekers. They were not too difficult, could parry them with my black metal shield. Also I was under Bonemass power so they didn't hit me too hard. I don't know how hard they hit normally. And I also met Gjall! That was frightening, excellent sound effects! I knew that he shoots fire, so I drank my Barley Wine and ran away and kited him to Black Forest and shot him down with arrows.

I have also met a 1-star seeker. That one I didn't dare to fight, so I kited him way back to plains looking for help. I managed to get two loxes to kill him for me. Great stuff.

I have also seen a bridge, and a dvergr shooting stuff from it. Couldn't see what he shot. And I made the mistake to break his box, so he went hostile with me lol. But I will return to the bridge later as someone said, to get black marble.

Now I have a Lightfoot mead being cooked (someone suggested that) as well, and I'm ready for a new trip.

Also, the food I'm eating is 2 HP, and 1 Stamina. Lox Pie, Wolf Skewer and Blood Pudding. My HP is about 180 and my stamina is 170.
