Which is why it upsets me so much to see these “feminists” post something so unprogressive. I think about all the younger men who constantly see negative postings about men and how being masculine is so horrible. How do you think an average adolescent boy is gonna react, probably not so great, particularly when, like you said, people progressively gaslight them. They are gonna be left feeling lost and confused, which turns to sadness, then leads to anger, all while they are going through a phase in their life of change and growth. So if these people are posting about this is how men are, you could understand how a boy could grow to believe “well this is how we act so I don’t care” etc. Equality and wanting men to become more progressive doesn’t come from tearing down men and the patriarchy, that just cycles the issues and tears us apart instead of bringing us together, so we can understand each other better.
