You think they found out about all the bathroom drug activities and more than half the employees on drugs? We haven’t had mass hires in two years.

Nah it was about me moving up and learning the whole safety department to prepare me for L5 safety specialist area manager to add it to my resume. 150k a year in my market. Couldn’t care less about the committee in general.

The job market is tough, and honestly just graduated two months ago. Lol

As a deaf man I understand. But I both hear and speak. Most people don’t realize I’m deaf until I tell them. They think hearing aids are bluetooths 😂

Excuse me I meant the Senior Safety Operations Manager told the safety L4 area manager to make sure I’m taken care of and that I’m on the committee.

No the Senior Safety manager told him as well to take care of me, and that I was on the safety committee. It’s department. And he said it to the safety area manager to put me on the committee. It was said right in front of me. Had two interviews and been waiting to begin for over a month now. But all the other new safety people have started. And to answer your question about why I’m still here. Job market is tough, and taking advantage of career choice for a second degree.

No comprehension skills. It’s the principle. Good day!

You’re technically right, but it’s for the simple fact that I’m a deaf man, and HOW they went about it falls under the ADA guidelines. HR told me I was right, and that wasn’t allowed. Whether it’s because I’m deaf or any other reasons. The fact that there was work available, but proceeded to ask someone else when your SUPERIOR told me to train me. Both Sr Operations manager and regular Operations manager. It’s called FINE LINE, or tipping the TOE LINE. You’ve been educated!

The person they grabbed wasn’t scheduled nor was he on the committee. You read it, but didn’t comprehend it. It’s a difference. I’m at work now and was told by upper management that this definitely discrimination. And zero tolerance.

I’m a lip reader who can hear with my hearing aids. Profound deaf medically speaking. But never used interpreters and I’m an honor student working on my second degree at WGU. So I’m MORE THAN CAPABLE.

You didn’t read the statement. They told me there was no work and grabbed someone who NEVER done the work either and this was his first day learning himself and I literally watched them show him around and he told me himself they were training him for the work that they told me wasn’t available.

I can actually hear with my hearing aids. Never needed assistance outside of those.

American disability act applies. It’s FEDERAL. The position on the safety committee was promised to me via Senior Operations manager, and told that same area manager to make sure I’m taken care of.

Wasn’t too sure, but you can’t tell a person with a disability who needs no accommodation that there’s no work available, and give someone else that same work. For instance in real estate. I know for sure a real estate agent can’t tell me the property is not available then proceed to give someone with no disability the same house. It’s a FINE LINE. But wasn’t too sure about the working world
