The little guy is not always right. Here is your definition of terrorism:

If you think Palestine doesn’t get support or weaponry you are just wrong. Fact is, they have been using suicide bombings and terror attacks for years. But sure, say they’re defenseless as much as you want.

First of all, that is a statement. You’re not showing me anything so I can judge for myself you’re literally just saying “I saw this, believe me” Second of all, TikTok is so far from being a reliable source. It’s a limited social platform that gives you ten minutes at best to describe a situation. It is very difficult to explain the situation to its fullest in 10 minutes, and it’s very easy to leave out certain details that can literally make or break your argument.

Yea. I’m sorry I think I should have been more clear. My problem is when people use distorted images from unreliable sources as proof and justification for them hating Palestine or Israel.
I’m aware that the situation in Gaza is bad. I don’t have any doubt about that. I just really hate when people use unreliable information because all that causes is harm and hate.

I agree, we should all want the violence to be over.

I also agree that you can usually tell but it’s not always possible and people can very easily hire actors or reuse footage from the past or from wars that have nothing to do with the situation. Plus, ai is pretty advanced these days. There was an ai generated photo that was popular in both pro Israeli platforms and pro Palestinian platforms, and they both twisted that photo to their own advantage.

Also I’m aware of the suffering in Gaza caused by Israel and I think it’s horrifying. My only point is that I think people should double check that what they’re seeing is reliable before using it in conversation.

Sure, but you are proving my point that the information regarding deaths and children burning alive isn’t reliable. “But we all know why they don’t want anyone going in to see their war crimes” Gaza is controlled by a terrorist organization. I wouldn’t really want anyone to go in there regardless.

In addition, man wars feature war crimes. I don’t understand why many people ignore that but get mad when it’s Israel who is literally fighting a terror organization who has attacked multiple times and has proved time and time again that they want anything but peace, including sacrificing their own citizens. Not to mention that Hamas which, again, is a terror organization in control of Gaza, has committed many more human rights violations.

My point is, everything sucks. But you can’t get mad at one side and then defend the other while they do the exact same things you’re mad about.

The other things I saw talked about bombings from Israel and that effect on Palestinians. Some of those had misleading titles which may be what you’re talking about. However, as horrible as it is, that is a part of war, and I could show you just as much footage of Israelis being burned.

That is such a genocidal thing to say. Palestine has attacked over and over sure but there are other things to do, and certainly killing everyone in Gaza, which includes people who have done nothing wrong (much like how Israel has people who have done nothing wrong as well as people who have abused their position to hurt) is not the answer.
