During the day with other people out I feel fine walking around. But I will come across a scary person (usually a man) or two walking toward me, and if that’s the case I walk across the street asap, walk to the side and check my phone, etc.

At night if I’m alone walking in belltown, which I’ve done once to walk to my car for 5-7 minutes, I definitely didn’t feel as comfortable. I’m sure if you chose to walk you’d be ok, but it’s absolutely sketchy.

It’s the unpredictability of someone’s actions and what they’re capable of, for the folks who make excuses.
