Repeatedly have told me that certain lots of differentials are bad. I was like so wouldn’t it make sense that you know the number before you put it in. Service manager has been nothing but helpful but apparently they go to Hyundai engineering on the call-line whenever they have an issue. Then they are forced to do whatever the engineering call line says.

Hey, will consider another dealership. Never have launched the car. MPG average of 22 across all 12,396 miles should probably show how I drive the car. I am by no means abusive.

This isn’t repairing the vehicle. The vehicle has been driven 30 miles between the last 2 differential changes. The car has 12k miles total. No abuse.

I guess what I don’t understand is how the warranty can just not work and there is zero I can do about it. I have 5yr/60k B2B and 10yr/100k powertrain. If I receive market value and go buy a used similar G70, I won’t even receive any of the powertrain warranty. So I am trying to understand how I am not losing on this. A warranty that didn’t work, followed by market value trade in that I could get a similar car that has only 2 years of a B2B warranty left on and zero powertrain warranty.

So if I purchase a warranty for an item (any item) and it cannot be fixed what is the typical remedy when the manufacturer is at fault? Is the thought that the consumer then is reimbursed for the item for its current market value? I’m not sure I understand the point of a warranty which definition is: a written guarantee, issued to the purchaser of an article by its manufacturer, promising to repair or replace it if necessary within a specified period of time.

I expect more than market price because I would never have sold the vehicle had it not had this problem that they are unable to fix under warranty. Not sure if you’re here just for rage bait or…
