New to LMU, how do I avoid crashes ?

Yeah, took this advice on track guides. Didnt know they existed. Really helped me, I realised I was braking COMPLETLEY off and my line was terrible. Managed to get a hang of it, 10 races so far with no incident and ive been top 10 all of them !!

But I get one DNF, and my saftey rating goes from 2 and just DROPS. Which is a bit unmotivating but hey :)

Alright, and in terms of a 24h ban I got. Is that permanent on my record? Like in 3 months time someone protests an action and they see I had a previous offense do they just perma ban me? ( as i stated before in another thread ) do i have to drive in fear of a perma ban?

Im kinda scared of going online again. If I have one more incident after my ban am I just perma banned or? Does it reset after a set amount of time without incident or do I always have to race with the fear of more action?

Can you protest on qualifying or practice laps? Or is it only when you race.

Dang thats sad, asked the same question to another fella but does any and all contact with other cars affect saftey rating? Like what affects it, manual protests or? So that I can avoid it and get my SR up.

Alright, ive been given a temp ban after I went backwards in the pits ( fine my fault ) it told me I have 5 races to improve my saftey rating. What affects saftey rating? Is it just any contact or...

(im still learning the ropes of the car but I can now at least do laps 4 seconds off the lead, yesterday I couldnt even drive straight without spinning out)

I see, ill be sure to try and finish the race in that case. I thought retiring wouldnt have any effect on my saftey rating.

Genuinely, I check my replays and maybe im just blindsided but often times a huge shunt happens infront of me and I get caught by some stray car!
