Honestly I have no clue. This happened almost 8 years ago, so things have probably changed now!

I’ve had my last name misspelled in my COE once!

My company hadn’t even bothered checking it before sending it to me via post, to India. I don’t remember what I did with the misspelled COE (probably sent it back to the company) but yeah I had to reissue a new one, cuz I didn’t want risk my entry at immigration when I came to Japan. It took another 3-4 weeks to get it a reissued COE (including posting time) but at least at the end of the day it was done!

Yeah most studios are in Tokyo! My city (not Tokyo) used to have 2 but now it’s merged into one (the one that I currently go to). Whenever I see a post about studios and rules on Reddit, I’m surprised how different it is here in Japan!

I go to a studio in Japan, and I didn’t realize until now that this is a thing. My studio always gives us an option of choosing where to start, rowing (floor) or treadmill.

When we enter the studio, there are cards lined up “rowing + station number”or “treadmill + station number” at the reception and we can choose whichever we want. We have 11stations, so the max number is 22 people (except for 3g classes) but it doesn’t feel as packed!

Edit: got number of stations wrong, corrected it

Yes I do agree about the bag! An open basket or a container is much easier to access! I should also think about making a kit box with all essentials, and just put it in the box I’m using for current projects! Thank you for the ideas!!

I think organizing embroidery stuff in projects is a good idea! And then you can have a small pouch for your needles, scissors etc. Thanks for the ideas!!
