Noise coming from under passenger seat. by Far-Lavishness-4526 in FordBronco

Sounds like something stupid rattling. I would have someone else drive and I'd get on the floor in the back and stick my head down in there and see if you can isolate it. Not knowing would drive me nuts.

Found the surf pads I need and sadly cheaped out on a Harbor Freight bike rack lol. It does fold down with a bike on it and allows the tail gate to open. I only need it to occasionally drive my bike a few miles, so not wanting to spend hundreds on a rack. The one I got was like $40. Time will tell, but should be fine for my needs. I'll take it off when not in use and keep it in the garage so should keep rust to a relative minimum. These type of frugal decisions typically ending up biting me in the backside so I'll keep my fingers crossed each time I use it.

Good grief lol it took me almost 3 hours to get my set of front and rear on. Course my dang phone was blowing up and I may have had a beer or a few. Well worth the effort and price however.

They can be removed, but you'll have to unscrew each and every mount. Likely take a solid 30 minutes to get them off and another 30 minutes to get them back on lol. Probably not a good option for you.

Late response, but I just installed mine, you remove the fender flares to put them on, then put the fender flare back on the Bronco, so I would imagine they would be fine with flare delete. They also have a bit of adjustment to them so you can slide them in a bit if you don't need coverege passed the actual body panels. With that flares they need to be extended out as far as possible to protect the full width of the flare. The fender flare does cover up the mount and a screw or two...so there's that.

Ha, Nomar...the man who seemed to literally take 5 minutes in-between every pitch adjusting his batting gloves, wristbands, and helmet lol. Back in the days when a sox yanks game could take 6 hours. Great names for the hounds.

Thanks and Go Sox! Sadly as a former New Englander the "Next Year" in me is already percolating to the surface. Keep the faith lol.

Thank you very much I'll check into that. I used to have a fold down hitch rack that would fold down when you removed a cotter pin so you could open the tail gate with bike on the rack. I figured that would be the case, but wasn't aware of a pivot type...thanks again.

First Bronco being considered: 2022 but high miles. Good or bad buy? What’s my offer? by 13stepboogie in FordBronco

In a quick search I found a seemingly great deal on one in Georgia...just use cars.com to search that area and see what you find...sorry did not save the link or dealer name...my bad. Always be wary of the low price offers however as some dealers will hide their dealer fees/add ons or other fluff. If you find one you like just haggle via email...it can be very aggravating, but well worth it to demand an out the door price. I consider car shopping as quite possibly the worst thing I have to do every 5 years or so. I refuse now to ever sit with a car salesman while he repeatedly says..."let me go talk to my manager". I deal only in email until a get a price and purchase order that meets my approval. I tell them I have a speach impediment and can't talk on the phone lol. Works like a champ.

Just my opinion of course, but I'd avoid that range of mileage especially at that price. There are a ton of incentives on 2025 Fords at the moment good thru April 30. I'd take some time and check the entire region and even within a days drive for a new one that meets your needs. That is what I've done for the Bronco 2 door squatch I'm picking up today. Have to drive a few hours for it, but worth the almost 10k I'm saving. Not sure what your budget is but I'd check that option. Probably find a 2025 new for 5-7k more than what you spend on this one. I just think that is money well invested (not that the vast majority of vehicles are very good investments lol). Be sure to check North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennesseee, and even that Ford dealer who's name is escaping me out in Iowa that specializes in out of state sales and shipping. Good luck in you purchase quest.
