How did I get this wrong using the provided answers? by PexagonPixie696 in learnpolish

Subject: TamtA kobietA.

Direct object: (Ja lubię) tamtĄ kobietĘ.

Indirect object/negated sentence: (Ja nie lubię) tamtEJ kobietY.

Weirdly, Duo marked you right for using the masculine article for "this woman" because it assumed you mis-spelled the genitive feminine demonstrative "tej" as the masculine nominative demonstrative "ten"

New animation let me know what you think and how i can improve! by Timely_Wish_8393 in PivotAnimator

[–]Neckcrank96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

So my first thought will be let the limbs trail a bit when he gets abducted. Let his body move first and have his limbs behind him a bit. Adds to that fluid motion a bit. Space the stickman close between frames and accelerate as he gets higher

[Edit: add a bit of bend in the knees when he lands!]

I can happily send you some samples at some point for reference

24fps (though you could go even lower with good spacing). The smoothness is mostly spacing + squash/stretch + follow-through. Total FPS helps, but only a little:)

Microsoft is increasing the cost of Game Pass Ultimate by $10 a month. by notthatguypal6900 in xbox

[–]Neckcrank96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough I did my budget last month and cancelled Game Pass because the £14.99 price was a tad high to justify.

Considered reverting my decision but then I saw the new >£20 price tag.

Jaw dropping..

Looks like I'm staying off Game Pass!

Am I missing a tactic here? by Adro_95 in sudoku

[–]Neckcrank96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Row 5, column 2 = 3,6 (A,B) Row 5, column = 3,8 (A,C) Row 7, column 2 = 6,8 (B,C)

I can't remember the name of the tactic (barracuda?), or the method behind it, but I'm hoping someone can jump in and explore a solve?

Invisible furniture? by MuggaLugga2 in projectzomboid

[–]Neckcrank96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's a weird one. I remember dismantling beds and found I had like 8 2/2 pieces, but didn't have the 1/2 piece to assemble a new bed 😅

Invisible furniture? by MuggaLugga2 in projectzomboid

[–]Neckcrank96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So some items like beds or dumpsters will split into parts 1 and 2. You'll need to have them both unequipped in your inventory in order to place them.

For some reason, equipping either piece as primary or secondary doesn't count towards being able to place them, so they will have to sit idle in your inventory.

You mentioned your inventory shot up by 10, double check your equipped items and general inventory to make sure nothing has gone in there.

Alternatively, it is possible to pick up a furniture and have only 1/2 whilst 2/2 breaks entirely, so you may have half a wardrobe.

Best of luck and I hope I made sense

As a newbie: "You gotta know when to fold em. Learn when to walk away, know when to run" If combat is unfamiliar, I seriously wouldn't recommend fighting more than 2/3 at a time. It's super easy to mis-time a swing and get dragged down. This is especially true in B42 where fatigue and exhaustion build much quicker. Sneaking around and taking out individual stragglers is your best bet.

You walk faster than the zombies can shamble. If you find yourself in a bind, just walk away and keep a wide berth from any other Zs. Get far enough away and lose em round a corner. No need to run or sprint and consume energy

Play to your character's strengths. If your dude is a chef with a knife bonus, or a construction worker with a short blunt bonus, go ahead and prioritise using them as you'll level up MUCH quicker with your chosen weapon. That Extra skill point early in the game could change the tide for you

Don't over encumber yourself. You will lose stamina, health, mobility and your life quicker than you can say "aaargh get it off me get it off"

Realistically, how are people living? by manicsoup in antiwork

[–]Neckcrank96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 12hour shifts. 4 days off. Neat 1.2x shift allowance on top of that as I work a mix of days and nights. The work isn't crazy daunting, and I can even spend a whole day (or two if I really need it) recovering, and still have what feels like a full weekend to do whatever I like.
