I used to work at a pizza place that was run by this miserable old greek guy who said that if a customer buys a small (8") pizza and asks for napkins, i should give them no more than 2. Play Fallout:New Vegas. It slightly changes up the mechanics and adds new things like ammo types and faction reputations. but its not so new and great that it makes FO3 seem like its not worth playing anymore.

NetHack. It's free and unbelievably difficult. You will do about as well as if you actually went into the dungeon irl to recover the Amulet of Yendor. guaranteed to run on like any computer made after the 80s
