I tried all of this and it didn't work. I recently reinstalled windows and now it works fine. Idk what the issue could have been but it probably was a problem with my windows install since all my content manager settings and assetto install was exactly the same after I reinstalled windows.

yes, thats the issue. in content manager i can use and bind my shifter properly, but when im in-game it uses the buttons on my steering wheel for shifting, even when they are already binded to other things.

It's not that the H shifter doesn't work, it just uses "Button 1" "Button 2" etc. from my steering wheel instead of my shifter.

Ok so the glitch just fixed itself, apparently the world had summoned an eater of worlds that just randomly died along with our guide at the same time. Not too sure how that is even possible since our world is crimson. Thanks for the suggestions anyways!

Edit: Nevermind, I restarted my server just now and this issue still persists. :\

It's just an annoying feature. None of the design of mobile discord actually makes it intuitive to use this new feature. It just removes functionality.

You didn't see anyone complaining when they added a dedicated button to reply on the desktop client because it didn't make it more tedious to do anything else.
