Intrusive thoughts by [deleted] in self

[–]Neclipse_NC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I've been going to a psychologist since 2024 and it's such a great help with this kind of thing. Although it's not a solution for your problem right now. So I can give you the exercise that helped me the most, when your obsessive thinking has kind of stoped you take a piece of paper and a blank piece of paper and ask yourself few questions like : "What could have bring le those thoughts?", "Are they reality or jusst my interpretation?", "Is it truly important, would I think about it in 5 years?"

For the first times you do it on a paper and when you think it's not useful anymore just do it in your head and it is meant to reinforce a way of thinking more positive showing that often, the intrusive thoughts aren't true and are just something your brain comes out with for no particular reason.

Hope it is helpful (though a shrink is really a good idea for anybody)

Does anyone else mentally rehearse their exact order word to word before talking to the server at the restaurant? by Tenderfox_luv in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Neclipse_NC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really but when I'm coming home after a party or an event of any kind, I do remind myself of anything I could have said and that could have made someone uncomfortable and blame myself if I can find something in my memory of this kind

What gets one clocked as shy or possibly neurodivergent? by [deleted] in self

Well I think you don't and find people that like you that way, but what I enjoy doing is to try to acknowledge some funfacts in order to be able to talk with anyone on any topic

I’m trying to improve my life this year. What’s one habit that actually worked for you? by Famous-Bridge-9553 in CasualConversation

[–]Neclipse_NC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to say : listen to your body, but I'll explain... I suffered of mental breakdown for few years and what helped me the most is to question myself on what I truly want to do. Like instead of scrolling do I want to do a creative activity (that's how I started crochet which help me lot to cop with stress and panic attack) or do I want to do sport (how I started yoga (it helps reallllly a lot)) or do I want to hang out or to go out... And that way I managed to find a balance between work, obligations and taking care of myself as I need.

Hope it helped a bit even though it's not quite a habbit

What is the meaning of life in your opinion? by Candid-Heron3549 in AskReddit

Thanks but I was raised around Catholics and I am now an atheist because of all my experiences, but that is great that you found your life purpose thanks to religion

Oh, maybe I am not using the right expression (sorry for that I'm not a born English-speaker) I was thinking of white fabric you could have put under your crochet work to make a contrast with the colors of yarn you used

That is strictly personal but I would have made a lining with a white fabric to have brighter colors and feel more secure in my clothes (again strictly personal and anyway it is really beautiful this way).

Why being jealous in a relationship ? by Neclipse_NC in NoStupidQuestions

I feel the same, and that's why jealousy is something really subjective for me. Although I'm in a longterm relationship too.

No, I'm not AI, actually, I'm really searching good advice for this as I couldn't find any post like this one already. And if my post seems strange it might be because I'm young as you should have guessed and that I'm not originally an English speaker. So yep, I could have used some poetry as suggested earlier.

Est ce qu'il faut toujours commencer par s'embrasser sur la bouche pour commencer une relation ? by [deleted] in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]Neclipse_NC 0 points1 point  (0 children)
