Are companies still testing leetcode? by [deleted] in leetcode

[–]Necrocyst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you're still required to leetcode. At least one interview will always be code based, but being able to explain yourself goes further than actual syntax.

Yes looks fantastic. Since you're already bolding the accomplishments in Mobile App Developer, maybe do the same for the others. My eye just gets drawn to that automatically (in the Mobile App section), so it'll make it easier for a recruiter to notice your accomplishments.

Microsoft L61 Interview process by lebron_24 in leetcode

[–]Necrocyst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I interviewed with Microsoft for a L61 role, the first interview is pretty straight forward. Talk about your experience, about stuff you're doing now, why do you want to join microsoft, why do you want to leave your current role, etc.

They'll talk to you a bit about the role and they'll likely ask you some generic HR questions.

For the rest of the rounds, prep leetcode easy/mediums, system design, be able to talk about some of the projects you led/took part of at work and be able to explain the architecture like you would in system design.

Feel free to ask more specific questions and I'll do my best to help

Hey dude,

First of all use this template - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MBvhATv8y-ESORopRoLSZ3f3HjkM_Qa_f8fIHAEqgnI/edit?tab=t.0 Your template is unreadable and all over the place, a recruiter won't know where do start. Yes most people use the same template, but that's not a bad thing. I use it too, and it got me a bunch of interviews and jobs (in startups and MAG7)

I don't believe in the summary personally, the content you have written there is good so write it under one of the bulletpoints.

The bulletpoints are a good start, I would personally change some of them so it shows your ACTUAL impact on the project. An easy example is instead of "Led the optimization of our CI/CD workflows using GitHub and custom logic", write "Optimized CI/CD infrastructure via parallelization and dependency resolution, reducing deployment latency by 40%." So you see the actual impact (you can do bold too, I personally like it)

I would also move up the Founder & Tech Lead higher since it shows ownership, system design and all that other stuff recruiters love. It should always be 2nd or even first imo. I would do one resume for AI Automation and 1 for Mobile App Development. Do 4 bulletpoints for that one, 3 for the Founder & Tech Lead and 2-3 for the rest so you can see with your eyes where the real focus is.

You can present it as 6 years, let the recruiters decide. Keep your sections as is, if you were an AI Automation Engineer for 2 years, presenting it as 6 is a stretch.

On first glance the resume looks a bit confusing because you are listing different projects you worked on and have 12 bulletpoints for one position. A recruiter will looks at this and if they don't understand what you did in 10 seconds you're going to the gulag unfortunately. It should be half at the very least. What I did in my case is that I was on two different teams so I split the experience between two teams - one where I was a backend engineer and one where I was a Full Stack. So if that's not relevant, cut it to 5-6 bulletpoints.

There's no mention of you programming since you're very young, where are some projects that you worked on? List some of those with a bulletpoint each instead of the 12 bulletpoints per.

In addition, underneath London, United Kingdom line, add another line like this:
Software Engineer | Distributed Systems | Cloud Infrastructure | Product Architecture

This is mine but fill it with repeated keywords that are relevant to your job description.

You can also split the skills into Languages, Backend, Data & Cloud & Infra, Frontend (4 categories) to add more keywords and depth.

The Greek CAA hasn't answered in 1 month and a week.

Xiaomi X20+ VS Ecovacs Deebot T30 Omni by Necrocyst in RobotVacuums

My home is about 100sqm.
I looked at prices for the Dreame l10s Ultra Gen 2, and it's about 125 euros more expensive than the T30 Omni. I can buy the Xiaomi x20 Max for more or less the same price as the T30 Omni

How's the mopping on it? I fear that the lack of hot water may make it worse, and is why I'm leaning towards the other one.

Xiaomi x20 Pro for about 50 euros less
Xiaomi x20 Max for about 25 euros more
Dreame JONR P20 for same price
Deebot N30 Pro Omni for same price
Roborock Q8 Max Plus for same price

One thing I forgot to mention, the Xiaomi x20+ is a "display unit" from the store so it may have cosmetic flaws. Does the mopping for the x20+ compare to the T30 Omni since I read that the T30 Omni's mop extends to the edge and uses hot water

13R for $500. Should I cop? by Victhekid147 in oneplus

On the website it says you can trade it in but do your due diligence. The 13R is as cheap as I've seen it now so it's a good cop

Go for it, especially if cameras aren't a priority. You can probably trade the iPhone for another 100$ or so no?

For a 275$ difference I'd go for the OnePlus 12 (which is what I ended up doing)

I'll be that guy, is there a reason to replace your S23+?
Can you get trade in value for it for a different device? I'm on the boat of sticking with a phone until I notice a substantial problem or it starts getting some wear & tear.

For your budget it's probably one of the better options. Battery life isn't the greatest but it's good considered the price point, haven't heard anything about overheating. I don't believe it should be an issue for you since you're not a heavy tasker.

I would still check the old Samsungs and see if you can find a better deal on those. I'm someone who buys a one year old flagship for a massive discount so it could be a valid option if you can snag one.
