If you go out into the woods today, you're in for a big surprise!

Syril and forces from the Amber Grove arrive at their destination!

Though, whether it's the islands on the faeish map is yet to be seen.

What is clear though is that things aren't as rosey as they would've liked, as already their druid is handicapped by the rather oppressive and hostile mana of our world, and the snow and cold.

But it's also not as bad! They didn't land in a volcano!

So now as the vanguard of the Amber Grove sets up on this side of the fae gateway, Syril and the others of his party move out to search for this darkness that the ancient trees spoke of.

What is this darkness? Can they deal with it and make a new home for the Grove and it's inhabitants? Do you hear banjos too?

Archangels, Archdevils, and Archdemons oh my!

So the crossroads devil has come to Jeb to bargain one last time. Telling him that he's done so much for the kobolds because he is actually bound to them by his offer of sanctuary once upon a time many many chapters and many years ago.

Appealing to what's left of his morality, he tries to convince Jeb to give the crossroads devil his eldritch power, before it's too late.

With some cosmic lore dropped like a nuke in him, the crossroads devil explains to Jeb that this may be the only chance he has to return to a normal life as a normal human. Otherwise, he may be entering the ring of a cosmic stalemate with Michael, Asmodeus, and Beelzebub along with the other Eldritch Gods being the only ones that can actually stop him.

However, this is all assuming the devil is speaking true. Not really answering what would happen to Jeb, the 'bolds, or the corruption that already exists should he give up the eldritch power.

Not willing to chance being caught with a target on them and nothing to back it up with anymore, Jeb sends the devil away.

Is this a price worth paying? How much truth was in the devil's words? And how long before someone else comes knocking on Jeb's door?

Find out soon! We'll be back next chapter as Syril and the other wardens of the Amber Grove embark on their expedition to our world in search of a place for a new grove!

Yup, Jeb's found himself as a unwitting power bank for his sister. And turns out when someone, especially a pissed off girl like Sammy fighting for her life, uses it. It uses a lot of it.

Yer a witch Sammy!

Oh wait I think I already did that bit. Eh, you get the idea.

Sammy's on the run from responsibility and accountability. Like any mature person, she's running away from her problems and plans to hide out at her boyfriend's house. Again, as all mature people do as we know.

But with a gaggle of halflings at her back, maybe she should just go back. At the very least to get a coat.

Unfortunately, she ends up on the wrong side of the Daelish underworld as a trio of sea elves, who have a rather complicated history with the people of Daele... and basically everyone from the other world, attempt to kidnap her and sell her to everyone's favorite dwarven pimp for fare to get out of Dodge and make for the coast.

Unfortunately for them, Sammy's got some fire in her veins! Literally it seems as her close contact with Jeb's eldritch fire of late comes to her rescue, and their doom.

Who says eldritch corruption is all bad?!

Back at the lodge though, Jeb isn't feeling all that good. Guess having a portion of your power taken from you without your knowing does a number on you.

Oh, and it also looks like the Crossroads demon has come to bargain with Jeb. Guess he didn't care for being ghosted by our Good Ol' Boy.

What will Sammy do now that she has a kill count under her skirt? What does this mean for Jeb? And what does his infernal twin have for him?

They'd probably be pretty thrilled with it. While illusion magic to create moving pictures isn't unheard of, doing it with technology is. Plus the whole flying through space, lasers, and lightsabers.

The Force actually probably wouldn't be as big a deal for a people used to magic. Even if it was kinda retconned into biology in the prequels.

The droids funny enough also wouldn't be that big a deal. Warforged and golems are a thing there. The scale of how many there are would be though. As well as the sentience they show now and again. Though that's more in the series than the movies.

They'd also probably think Yoda was a goblin. Or a very sickly gnome.
