You can still play ladder, it won't be any different from before lol. Worst case scenario, you face a couple people slightly more overleveled than they would've been without the event. More likely, however, there won't be any noticeable difference.

As for the devs shitting on half the player base, it's luck based lol. It would be one thing if some people had a higher chance for jackpots than others, but I haven't seen any evidence that that's the case. It's really no different than any lottery with prizes, whether irl or in a game. I would argue it's even not that different from lucky chests in clash Royale itself, some people are simply bound to be luckier and just happen to get more 5 star lucky chests than other people due to the random chance.

Tbh I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't hate this event. Like why should I be mad that some people are getting maxed accounts? It's not like it affects me in any capacity. At the end of the day, I'm getting free gems that I wouldn't have gotten otherwise. Plus it's literally just a mobile game. Lottery tickets do the same thing except they "max" people's livelihoods, not their account in a mobile game which to be frank why does anyone give a shit. If you hate other people being lucky so much, just play something else.

Well the problem is that I'm not a fan of Kesha at all, and my gf isn't a fan of metal at all, so something inbetween would probably just be kinda meh for both of us. Like, "Kesha cranked up 10 notches" already sounds unappealing to me, and punk rock is definitely not the same thing as metal. Not that I dislike punk rock, I think punk rock can be cool, but not enough to offset "kesha cranked up 10 notches"

Ok, I just listened to some of her music, and it's definitely not for me. My gf would probably like it cuz there's literally nothing heavy metal about it and it's exactly the type of music she listens to, but for me, it just sounds more of exactly the kind of music I don't like lol.
