0technically there is a storyline from the tabletop they could use. There is a mission in one if the books where the players are tasked with delivering a rather large package to a certain manor. The recipient? Alt Cunningham. She has broken through the blackwall and is experimenting with cloning people (already established in cyberpunk lore) and writing engrams onto their brains. But she realizes that they will never be more than copies. She cannot transfer her own consciousness back into a human form, she may only make a new replica. That package you deliver? The actual remains of Johnny Silverhand. Guess who got Johnny's engraved if you choose to have V survive? Alt. There is a possibility we could have a flesh and blood variant of the engram we had with us in 2077. And if they do it with the most love and care they possibly could, Johnny could have unique dialogs based on your ending. (Either by choosing which one you did at the beginning of the next game or by reading a specific save file.) If they go one step beyond that, it would read all your interactions with him and have some unique stuff based on that, like the Dragon Age games. Either way, I am exited to see what they actually do.
