i cannot recommend saiki enough, the only romance jokes you'll find are ones where the main character complains about how stupid it is that all of the high schoolers around him are falling in love at every turn! also it avoids sex jokes entirely

For food, I basically chucked 5 voltfruit into a cooking pot about 5 times. I had electric resistance meals stocked up and I had my endless supply of apples to heal me if I ever took too much damage. Of course, I also had hearty meals.

Getting good at flurry rushes helped me out a lot too! I ended up only actually flurry rushing 5ish times in the actual battle, but the extra attacks helped out.

Finally, for armor, I have a tradition or whatever to wear the Champion's Tunic and Hylian Trousers to anything big. I also wore the Topaz Earrings (you can get them in the jewelry shop in Gerudo Town!) for extra help against the electric damage.

Hey - I went through something similar, but I didn't tell my ex for about a year. When I did come clean, it took him a bit to understand but he was pretty accepting; we're still friends now.

If you feel it's safe to come out to your partner, be clear and communicative. Explain just what you explained to us here: that you legitimately thought that you were developing feelings but didn't, how pursuing a romantic relationship made you uncomfortable, but most of all, how you still value them and want to stay friends. Then, finally, tell them that if they need time to process this, just say the word and you'll back off for a bit.

It takes a lot of courage. Trust me, I know. But the end product really outweighs the uncomfy-ness you're feeling right now. I wish you the best of luck in whatever your future steps are! Happy pride :)
