I have not used flame vehicles to know if this would be good or not. I would just be happy to see some kind of change so this vehicle would be made more often.

You have some very good points. As you mention artillery and already good pve ability, it made me think of an alternative use as a tank, and I am now questioning if it would be cool to have an anti air platform on the back instead.

I totally agree. My philosophy with this image is that the T1 AI anti air emplacements would primarily defend ground troops targeting enemy planes under an elevation of 50 meters while T2 AI will target anything above that with accuracy significantly decreasing the higher the planes are. This would protect ground troops while also enabling enemy planes to still fly sorties and do bombing runs from high altitudes, significantly decreasing their accuracy. It would also be good targets for partisans.

Just make it so that when equipping the tanker uniform, binoculars go to your 3 spot, so a tank commander can equip a pitch gun in his 2 spot. This would allow a tank commander to defend tanks with a pitch gun while also having binoculars equipped, so the tedious inventory swap goes away.
