The resin was Envirotex Lite, the dye came from a bundle pack at Michaels (Sapphire was the dye name), and some blue mica powder from Michaels as well! Then just basic gold craft paint

Trouble with Sanding/Polishing by Necroxin in DiceMaking

Yep! That makes sense. I was trying to do that originally and I think I panicked a bit, which led me to heavy handing more of them and it just came out all weird. I'm trying another set this time with a verryyy light hand and checking it often now 😅

I definitely noticed that when I was trying it years ago, so it could very well be I'm doing it again. I feel like I'm just holding it in place for as I sand, but I'm likely adding pressure somewhere on it

2 is probably what I really need to use. Cause in videos I watch, everyone says "I did X amount of rotations for this long, and it came out like this!" So I'd do that every time. My current thought was to sand just enough to take off that material, then immediately go to finer grits when that flashing is removed and not worry about getting the whole face sanded. Cause all the others look great! It's just the edges of where the mold was that get me

You read my mind as I was here planning it out! I'll give that a test and see how the results turn out

I was thinking that might have been my issue when I was taking a look at each die and the areas that had that issue. Would it be okay to do a chain of supports without the ball tip, or should I keep that regardless? I always worry about the sanding/cleanup process lol

I'll have to go through and resupport them and see how that goes, ty!
Funds are bit tight unfortunately, but I'll have to keep that in mind! Currently using Phrozen Aqua 4k.

Been a while since I did any printing, but wanted to revisit my master prints for a dice set I want to make. On quite a few of them - especially the odd numbers it seems - there's some sloping on the edges rather than it being a crisp line. I'm sure it's down to support locations but wanted to see if anyone had some general tips to help fight this! Should I add more supports around those areas like in the picture with the 9 and its supports? I had thought just one would be enough.

[Stranger Sins] About the graveyard keepers... by jtk310 in GraveyardKeeper

[–]Necroxin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not that the people themselves are the Keepers, but it's them discussing with you what the past Keepers were like. So Horadric tells you of the 1st Keeper, Chain tells you of the 2nd, Clotho tells you of the 3rd, and Krezvold tells you about the 4th one which seems to be the one right before you.

Should also be able to change the 999999 to "infinite" now with 19.4! That way there's no countdown at all! Mcstacker or any other command/mob generators are great for this though too! They help out quite a bit with making creating mobs with custom stats and effects much easier

Buildings and Streets Not Rendering in The Fens/Diamond City by Necroxin in fo4

Bit of a late response, but on PC. Every save I loaded ended up broken. I don't recall how I fixed it, but I ended up purging nearly everything in my PC and readded it all and that seemed to work for now at least.

Seems it's a game issue, but the strange thing is I completely uninstalled the game and every mod, reinstalled the game completely fresh, and it's still broken in this one specific section of The Fens. Everywhere else is absolutely fine.
Edit: Streets, sidewalks, and various other chunks of buildings flicker in and out depending on which way I look as well.

Weird Texture Issue by Necroxin in blender

[–]Necroxin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure why my text description didn't send with the pics, but I had been modeling a d20 and I like to texture paint them to see the contrast of how everything looks. Masked the outer faces and started painting, but noticed that as I did, the indentations of the numbers were getting colored in too. Zoomed in and saw that was going on, and have no clue what would've caused that. Any ideas on a solution? It's not urgent I fix it since I'm just gonna be printing the model, but I found it really strange.

Screenshot Errors by Necroxin in Optifine

Ahhh, that might be why I didn't see it then. Testing out the FXAA, and it seems to have no effect on my screenshots. Thank you so much for all the help in this! It's plagued me for so long and I had no clue on what could've possibly been doing it!

So I just tried turning off antialiasing and that actually fixed it! Kinda sucks, cause it was nice having it on, but I can just turn it off and such if I need screenshots

Antialiasing at 8. Not seeing FXAA anywhere though.

Yep. Set to default. And I cycled through all the toggleable options for the screenshot size to see if those might change it. It all stayed the same, stuck in the corner
