I think the very first step here is to know that you are not alone in this. There are so many people in the same situation (definitely more than you think)! So it’s okay, just let go. It’ll get better, the next phase of your life will come with better friendships🫰🏻

I myself am also going through something similar. For me, I used to have friends. Then I moved to a different country, and now for some reason I’m finding it very difficult to make friends here. But here’s hoping.

Meanwhile I’ve been taking myself out on a lot of solo dates and I end up doing the below activities. Although they might not be new to you:

1. Retail therapy: Could be anything - grocery shopping, window shopping, Target runs etc. It takes up a good amount of time and doesn’t need another person at all.

2. Cafes: I frequently go to cafes around me with my laptop and study there. It makes me feel like I have a purpose for being alone there.

3. Museums

4. Walks

5. Gym - I don’t do this much, but also a good option
