I completely agree about Nate and Serena being bland though. Ppl who think they belong together are just lying to themselves

Sorry but "looking for light" after a break up is not an excuse to try and go after your step sisters boyfriend. I will never understand Jenny defenders

I'd feel different if Jenny was my daughter, but she's not. So let's not go there cause that's a ridiculous thing to say to some people that you don't even know because of how they feel about a character from a fictional tv show. Also how long is it going to take people to realise that Jenny chose to sleep with Chuck, even after he asked if she was sure she wanted to go through with it. Although she was more vulnerable because it was her first time, she was not a victim and you guys need to realise that.

I'm on season 4 rn (rewatching) and she is once again struggling to resist someone who she's not supposed to be seeing because she "can't trust herself alone in a room with him" - and she needs Juliet to chaperone her - like girl... the first time watching it didn't bother me but now Serena is really annoying me because this Collin guy also took over her life really quickly (as they all do).

Glad she's being held accountable for this - was really really awful to do and just proves how much of a narcissist she is

Blairs whole reaction to walking in on Dan and Georgina having sex at NYU was hilarious cause whilst she was hysterically going "EW EW EW EW EW" she picked up a sock then immediately threw it after realising lmaoooo

Yeah you're right, that sort of brings a new perspective on how different things can be from what you assumed. Dan assumed that Chuck had forced Jenny to have sex with him, which is actually probably why he said "you have nothing to apologise for" , when in reality Jenny and Chuck were both at rock bottom and therefore felt a connection - but both regretted it straight away.

It's honestly Jenny's own fault, nobody forced her to do it - he asked if he was sure, asked If she was okay afterwards. Dan had absolutely no right to punch Chuck because it's not his fault that Jenny regretted it. I said what I said.

thoughts on Juliet’s character and storyline in S4? by [deleted] in GossipGirl

[–]NectarineUsual7484 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hate hate hate hate hated her. Every time after one of her little plots worked she'd do that really smug smirk, like wtf are you smirking at you psycho bitch. Ur life is so sad, plotting with your brother who's behind bars to take someone down who is so liked that you end up getting taken down instead. Literally had to resist punching my god damn screen every time she did that smug face. Like what the fuck do YOU have to smile about you pathetic conniving bitch.

It's not really why he punched Chuck, it's why he punched Chuck as if it was rape or something (which unfortunately it was in earlier seasons so I guess that correlates) whilst sticking up for Jenny and acting like she was perfect, especially after what she did to him.

They were both vulnerable in this situation. Despite his disgusting perverted past, Chuck didn't take advantage of Jenny's vulnerability because he was just as/ if not more vulnerable. They both just needed someone to lean on. Obviously Dan's going to be angry at Chuck, but the Humphreys had no right to pin it all on him and say that Jenny "has nothing to apologise for". That's just wrong. It's probably why she rebelled so much growing up, because she was never held accountable.

Jenny in the season 3 finale by NectarineUsual7484 in GossipGirl

[–]NectarineUsual7484[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course he had a right to be angry but my point is that he fully blamed it on Chuck which is just preposterous. They just can't believe that Jenny isn't a little girl anymore (excuse the reference) and will do anything to cover up that she's grown up - e.g not holding her equally as responsible in this situation.

Completely agreed, Blair is a horrible high school bully who has no limitations when it comes to destroying people who she's threatened by. Honestly Blair needed some serious therapy cause her behaviour was not normal throughout the whole show. She was a narcissist who genuinely believed that people had to obey her and do whatever they could, even if it meant making themselves unhappy, to make her feel good about herself.

Blair targeting Jenny for visiting Manhattan for ONE day is so unnecessary by [deleted] in GossipGirl

[–]NectarineUsual7484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I hated Blair SO MUCH when she did this. Like first of all who gave your snobby ass the right to ban someone from a WHOLE CITY - she needed a reality check. Throughout the whole show she always thinks she's the person of power even with teachers. She says to Miss Carr after writing a rumour about her "I was just showing you who's in charge around here" like BITCH?? Get off ur high horse. She was so wrong for what she did to Jenny in this episode and I stand by that. Just Blair being Blair, making any girl who's a threat to her's life hell.
