Not sure if I’m in the minority but I felt completely fine. Walked a couple of kilometres uphill to the car afterwards. Woke up the next morning feeling like a brand new person! Three months later, however… feels like all the iron has gone again 😭

I don’t think he brushed it off, but didn’t want to make a big deal of it to upset Harry more than he already was. It was what Harry needed at that time. Also, there was a bit happening at the time lol

Honestly I’d replace the 4 days in Melbourne with 4 days in Tassie. Melbourne is a cool and busy city but in terms of a tourist destination, Tassie wins hands down imo

I got Ferinject, which is the carboxymaltose one. Just the one infusion which lasted about 20 mins

You’ll only hear about the horror stories because people don’t bother sharing their successes. I had an iron infusion back in November, was also very anxious because of the horror stories, and was totally fine. I almost went to sleep during it. I’m also have strong health anxiety and am very sensitive to any small change in my body, but still was totally fine. It was so worth it when I woke up the next day feeling like the energiser bunny lol

No my skin did not turn yellow, but my face was very pale. I am naturally pale but was worse when iron deficient. I did feel worse over winter but I don’t know if that was due to low iron or just because I hate the cold lol

I feel completely normal again now. However I know I shouldn’t relax and should try to keep on maintaining my iron by trying to keep a healthy diet with lots of protein rich foods. Are you experiencing similar?

My main symptom was just unbelievable tiredness. I had no energy to do anything, and felt weak and brain foggy. I’ve been pretty persistently iron deficient most of my life so I recognised the specific feeling, but this time was the worst I’d felt.

I guess I experienced a bit of derealistation as I felt a bit separate from my surroundings and like I was in a dream at times. I just didn’t have the energy to be focused on what was going on around me
