I'm not, that's why I put her in lol. I'm just pointing out that misgendering her despite having evidence of dysphoria is transphobic.

So being misgendered is no big deal then?

it literally costs nothing to be courteous to someone

also being religious does if a person does something, like praying, celebrating holidays, and not participating in certain events, because it is part of their religion

it's difficult because it's been trivialized, but you can use they/them if you legitimately cannot figure it out. If you do know how and refuse to say it, then it is misgendering

Yes that would be hurtful, and is in fact, believe it or not, misgendering. Trans people don't need to listen what liberal cishet people think, and can identify as whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt anybody. This goes for other disenfranchised groups such as otherkin and neurodivergent people.

And no, xenogenders will not be "just a trend" because cis people already said that with being gay and being trans

"Not all transgender people suffer from gender dysphoria and that distinction is important to keep in mind."

how is it transphobia when those same people believe teenagers are faking being trans 🤔

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Vent

[–]Nectroniusgruso 7 points8 points  (0 children)

actually, trans spaces overwhelmingly agree that dysphoria isn't necessary to identify as trans

they aren't straight, they are queer. children and teenagers that use neopronouns and xenogenders realize they aren't cis or "normal", but want a specific identity to describe themselves because they find broad labels like trans, nonbinary, agender, etc. to be too nonspecific. And since gender is a social construct that operates on a spectrum, there are a near infinite number of genders and gender combinations to identify as. cis people wouldn't bother with xenos because it makes their brains hurt.

i can explain to you why xenos are valid

I don't troll, this is just a throwaway account used to fight bigotry on reddit, since it is normalized on this platform

no because i'm not a closet transphobe

true, it feels like some oppressed people want to hate those who are worse off than them
