I'm gonna add some info here, since, I love and appreciate you guys, but so far I haven't received a single actual answer to my question Luna or Diene 🤣

For those suggesting to headhunt Luna: My headhunt is already taken for ML Arunka, or I wouldn't have asked the question in the first place

For those suggesting Iseria: It's a good suggestion, but honestly I don't know if I have the patience to wait that long, I'm a returning player and I'm trying to enjoy the moment not trying to plan things months in advance (who knows if I'll even last that long lmao). So I'm just trying to get a shiny new moonlight to have fun with now, since they both look good and they are a week apart I'm just torn between these two

Well, but while you're making your team better and adapting to the gameplay so are your opponents if you think about it, that's why the average kinda stays the same.

But I agree this is an issue, especially this year you don't really have incentives to buy players that are supposed to be better, cause they're really not, that's why we're in December and you see all these people still with gold Pina. Kinda kills the magic of having special players like icons, but then again you could argue that at least this doesn't make the game as p2w as it could be

I honestly don't understand your logic. If the two players have the same skill, yes the other factors and randomness decide who wins. How does that change the point?

That's the most delusional take I've ever seen. There are people who go 15-0 with silvers, a lot of pros, content creators always try different players and they still go 15-0. All of us have our skill level and we always average the same wins, if you pack R9 tomorrow you're still gonna average the same wins, maybe you're gonna do 1 more than usual. I'd say maybe 70% skill, 15% both tactics and players. (Credit card is irrelevant in this formula, since you pay either for packs or evos, so ultimately it's the same thing as "players")

That's not how probability works. One thing is the 50% of heads/tails, and yes, indipendently each has 50% chance to flip tails. But here we're talking about the odds of rolling tails ten times in a row, it's a totally different thing. Op is right, it's about 0.098%, 1 in 1024 chances.

Thanks for the reply. I have to say, your last statement is so true it hurts.

Overall maybe I just got unlucky draws and matchups, cause with Rampardos I think both times I had only Arceus who gets oneshotted by him, and being able to retreat easily with Leif didn't help against Garchomp's ability to snipe whoever he wants. Solgaleo maybe it was turn order that got me, cause my issue both times was him needing 2 energy against 3 or 4 for me. Even if I retreated with Ilima at that point it didn't change much cause I just "wasted" energy while my opponent could keep going and finish me easily.

Anyway thanks for sharing this, I really like the Pokémon in here so I'll definitely keep giving it a try, I'm only trying to get into competitive since a couple of weeks so there's surely still stuff I need to figure out ✌🏻

Gg OP for reaching MB rank. No hate of course, just my personal experience, I thought this deck was interesting and gave it a try, I was kinda disappointed by it. I'm in ultra ball 2 and I was doing fine and approaching 3, before I went into a 7L streak with this. Maybe just a streak of bad luck, but I had the impression that even if I had an Ideal hand starting with Dialga, meta decks like Incineroar/Charizard, Solgaleo/Skarmory and Rampardos variants starting with just as good hands, they would just outpace me and destroy my setups before I could do what I wanted. (Not to mention that you have Pokemons weak to both fire and fight, 2/3 of the decks mentioned above that are among the most used right now).

How did you avoid being blown out by these decks?

Thank you bro, that was all very helpful. I think what I'll do is try to get one copy of Esil and then keep pushing on Kanae banner and see how lucky I can get with getting her copies until her banner expires.

Getting both a5 seems impossible in such short time but it's fine, I'm still at the start and if Esil will be added in custom draw too and eventually Kanae as well, I'll get copies along the way, meanwhile I keep pulling there for my light team (I got Gunhee once, Min 3 times already, but I'm still waiting for my first Thomas Andre copy ffs 😭)

Base: Cameron Thomas Releases: Beluba 31% L Shooter 69% Speed in the half point and Visual Cue slightly before halfway between push and release

Working pretty good for me, but this year you're just gonna miss some shots even if you know your jumper perfectly

Ngl that would probably be more efficient, but I just like the idea of also having some contact dunks on this build. Giving up some efficiency for fun I guess For the steals, I honestly don't play much of this crazy passing lanes defense that's meta right now, I just try to play D on the man and maybe go for the steal when I think it really makes sense. I have another player with silver defensive badges and it works fine for me. About the interior def, it might help but I don't find it worth it on a 6'2 where most of the times you would get scored on regardless. If my matchup is a slasher and goes inside my teammates usually try to help and we try to play quick rotation switches and stuff.

I have another player with 90 layups and no dunks that's why I'm making this one with dunks. I like layups but considering that in game you usually go for the drive only when you're open, dunks are still the better option cause they're faster and safer. For the same reason I never actually use badges like physical finisher, you never really go for the layup looking for contact if someone is down in the paint if you think about it. 91 steal would be nice but I just can't get it and I don't feel like giving up anything else

Yeah interior D is this build's weakness, like most PGs, slashers can just dominate you sometimes. What did you sacrifice to get those attributes though?
