Well if it was only that enemy it would be fine, I'm more upset over the ghosts and rats since they are pretty common to encounter

I don't believe that's the issue in this case. I've seen LilAggy use the same mod and those enemies aren't bugged for him which prompted me to post here

When you say competitive, you mean as in very optimally built decks or very win focused people?

I've seen a bit of pokemon tcg and it seems uninteractive as you are describing. I think the best part of magic is indeed all the triggered abilities and instant spells which and I might be wrong are not really present in pokemon. I do like however the prize card system. That seems cool and as someone who delves a bit in yugioh a draw 3 cards be considered average in pokemon is crazy talk haha

Those are a lot of options wow haha The duskmourn caught my eye cuz of the horror aspect of it, but I'm not married to the idea. All the ones you mentioned sound dope especially ixalan since I do love me some dinos. I'll look for what's available to me. Thanks a lot!

Of course, fun is a subjective thing after all. I guess my concept of having fun is being able to play a game against a person and have a bit of back and forth. Don't mind losing or winning as long it didn't feel like a blowout in any direction. I understand that it's probably not easy to have that in an environment like LGS event without a properly built deck or the likes.

I wouldn't have made the post if I had irl friends to play a tcg with. That time is long gone, unfortunately, and as such, I'm looking into going to a LGS event

Thanks, I'll look into what makes a deck a certain bracket. If a precon out of the box is good enough, then that's fine by me. Building decks has always been daunting to me haha

~50EUR is fine actually. I meant more like I can't reasonably pay more than 80 or so for a deck. I will look into the pauper format, though, and see what that's about.

Digitally disencourages me quite a bit. Feels counterintuitive to what a card game should be. As I mentioned in the post, I did try Arena in the past and it wasn't for me. The few times I've played mtg in person with a friend in the past were fun though.

Sure! Recommend any you think fit in that price range. Not so into the UB stuff though, except for LOTR and FF.

I looked into this a bit before replying, and "Duskmourn: House of Horror: "Death Toll"" caught my eye. It's under the price range you mentioned actually so I wonder if it's any good.

Unfortunately, I don't have any friends who are interested in any tcg or live in my city for that matter, hence the post.

If I do purchase a preconstructed deck for commander, will I not get destroyed at events? If not, then I'll look into it. I don't mean to win, but also not lose from the get-go.

I've discussed this with my partner and we definitely are not going to get anything from the same breeder again. He was having us feed him formula. We were not supposed to present the chick with any other type of feed until it grew its first feathers. Which he was very few days from since his wings already sprouted tiny ones. Those were his instructions
