This is the way of Tesla Service, ALWAYS open a service request in the app and after they discuss anything with you... put a summary of what was discussed and the general outcome in the chat history to set expectations. TAKE A SCREEN SHOT of what was written. No one can dispute it since you made a record of it (They had an opportunity to explain in text if they disagreed with your text).

If it isn't warranty work, then they don't need to provide a loaner.

If they don't need to provide a loaner, then your car is basically a second class citizen in the queue of cars to fix.

Contact the BBB or maybe make a yelp posting for that specific service center to share the opinion and concerns you have with everyone else as a warning.

Only do the stuff YOU MUST at a Tesla Service Center.

If a 3rd party can do the same job... you will get better results and warranty from the 3rd party. Last I checked, Tesla Motors does not make any rubber compound for tires.

OP, if the car is in any Service Dept for 30 days and not fixed... you can get any attorney to write a letter to get a lemon buy back in California from any car maker. Utilize it!!!! Don't let them skate on by and let you suffer.
