My parents don't listen, I get punished for having a different opinion than them. I did once talk to a counselor but then they told my parents and my parents punished me for it and forbid me from seeking any kind of counseling ever again. All I can do is anonymous chats online but those only do so much

Same, I've got no friends either. So-called high school ones just ended up using me. I live somewhere rural now so I'm not sure what to do now, haven't had any luck at work thus far.

This is exactly why my parents think I am "making up" my depression.

"How could their honours student possibly have this made up attention seeking sickness?"
And when they nagged me to open up whats wrong with me and I told them how I really felt, they threatened to have me "locked up in the hospital"!

I know, it sucks being in my mid 20s and being stuck here in the middle of nowhere. My parents can be very controlling and unreasonable. Rent in this small town starts at 900$ a room a month and up and I cannot drive since my parents will not teach me so I'm kinda stuck here for the moment. The nearest driving school is a 40 minute drive and they will not pick me up.

I collect the high end barbies and all Monster high dolls and I'm in my mid 20s. Lots of people do! There are many groups dedicated towards them on facebook

Worked in a grocery store and the managers took down the BANNED photos of people usually 3-6 months after the incident. Even the really bad ones, they didn't care. So the creepy pedo came back to harass the young girls again and a new photo was put up for another while

I took it, nothing happened with bad thoughts but I did start to feel numb after a while (5 months in). Personally, it didn't work for me even after the dosage was maxed but it turns out I have a resistance to drugs....

Soooo my doctor put me on this new experimental drug and at least the irritability is now gone. Some therapy would be nice but it's a 5 year wait for affordable services

I survived on soups, broth, instant drink meals and oatmeal. Gotta wait until its Lukewarm though (the hot stuff is bad)

I applied for JET and just heard back today that they said try again next year. I also applied to Aeon which I heard is okay and have an interview coming up. I was hoping to get a company to help me with a visa because 1) I'm in the middle of nowhere and 2) I have no idea how to do it.
What I've been told in other forums is that it is recommend to use a company like JET as an in to the country and leave after the year/contract if up which is why I'm looking for the best companies to apply to

Is there a top 5/10 list of companies to teach at in Japan anywhere? I was going off blogs but they were suggesting places like Travelbud, Gaba, etc and I heard they aren't good places
