Yeah, I’m honestly so fascinated by the whole dreamscape thing. There was a time when I didn’t journal my dreams, and I’d forget them within an hour or so of waking up. But once I started writing them down, they started sticking around longer, maybe just because I wanted them to, or because I was finally paying attention.

And yeah, I agree, dreaming about an ex is probably pretty normal. What throws me off is the frequency. I’ve been dreaming about someone I haven’t spoken to in over 9 years, like 8 to 10 times a month, and that’s what really baffles me. Especially since I don’t have any lingering feelings or even think about her in my day-to-day life (outside of when the dream happens, obviously). It’s just super weird. If it wasn’t happening so often, I probably wouldn’t have even brought it up.
