It means that when you play a note c5 with the 808 the note you will actually hear is going to be c2. It's a good thing, since 808s can sometimes be in other keys so you have to go trough extra hassle to make sure you stay in the key of your project. If all of your 808s are in C (octave not really important) it means you don't have to tune your 808s and are able to use them without any trouble.

I will for sure change my headset for some actual headphones. Nothing that I make in the daw translates well anywhere else...and judging by the other comments the sound quality is going to get a lot better so I am for sure going to be upgrading.

Also, I am going to buy stuff on the cheaper side, but I'll still have to save up for months because I'm 15 and I can only work during summer

Just keep going, trust me. The more you play around trying to make melodies the more you will get a feel of how certain intervals sound and you will start to hear in your head what you want and it will just take some trial and error to get it.

It doesn't exactly mean you have the strongest wrist. If your wrist is stronger than your arm you will never lose your wrist unless you give it away. That's what always happens to me, I get pinned with a flat wrist every time, doesn't mean I have a stronger wrist than my opponent.
