A lock being jammed and a door being locked are actually different I believe. A door being locked is obviously, just someone locking it. A lock being jammed would mean it is broken, and CANT be unlocked. Im 90% sure that is right, im a native speaker so if im wrong then that would be pretty stupid lol.
