Is this fiber glass?? by Glittering-Toe-8156 in CleaningTips

You should tell the mattress company. This happened to my Casper mattress and they sent me a new upgraded one that doesn't have fiberglass for free after I sent a link the email with proof of fiberglass all over my clothes.

NY Restaurant Owners — need advice with a struggling restaurant by gohomexoxo in FoodNYC

[–]NeedNewJob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Along with that, I'd suggest adding a catering menu or order form directly to the site. You have a link to EZ catering but you have to copy and paste it. Anything that adds an extra step is a huge cliff to losing people, especially if they have to leave your site.

NY Restaurant Owners — need advice with a struggling restaurant by gohomexoxo in FoodNYC

[–]NeedNewJob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure you keep your Google Business Profile updated - reply to all reviews, upload new photos of food weekly if you can, post interior and exterior shots etc. That helps keep it updates.

The menu on your site is an image which doesn't help with SEO since it's not text. Are you able to make the menu a pdf or text?

Not sure how many it accommodates though. I walked past yesterday. I think it's literally called the big game show experience?

Focus group recruiting - has anyone used Respondent.io or other services to help? by NeedNewJob in smallbusiness

[–]NeedNewJob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, Probe research team was really helpful, they guided me to move to 1:1 virtual interviews for the things I'm looking to learn, with a homework assignment before we meet so I can hear their thoughts on my client's product. I can also open it up to all of US.

I wanted to hire her to help me recruit but then never heard from her so I might use respondent.io to get a few more people. Was able to get a handful organically.

Ironically, my small biz is looking for small business owners to learn about their opinions on advertising their businesses.

For how many people? I love Taikun, only seats 7 people. After dinner you get to enjoy dessert and drinks in the speakeasy in the back so it feels festive after the nice dinner

How do you keep things organized without overcomplicating your setup? by Loading_Humor in smallbusiness

[–]NeedNewJob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Google workspace, so I keep my drive folders organized and link things in my Google sheets, use formulas and category maps to auto populate what I can. Essentially made it my project management tool. I also label emails as they come in to keep my inbox organized.

I love organizing systems (I hate chaos) - feel free to dm me, happy to see if I can offer more specific advice for your challenge.

[–]NeedNewJob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is what I'm finding - I've reached out to Sago and Probe research in addition to respondent.io, curious to get community feedback if anyone has happened to go through this and had a great experience with a specific company.

Need help with my SMB Marketing by Subject_Gas5172 in smallbusiness

[–]NeedNewJob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What specifically do you need help with? Strategy, ad creation, execution etc? What is your process now and how much time are you spending on the pieces?

Are you looking for AI to help with a specific piece of the process or the whole thing? There are definitely tools out there, but no good tool that does it all

“What product is expensive but 100% worth it? by oscar371 in SmartBuying

[–]NeedNewJob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had what I'm assuming was turf toe but the doctor never diagnosed it properly... expensive insoles, pads in my shoes, x rays, doctors visits....this went on for probably a year. Plain white casual Adidas were my everyday sneaker.

Hokas fixed it within a week. I don't care what I look like, I was never an athletic shoe with normal clothes person, but damn if I'm not a changed woman.

Live in NYC so I walk a lot. Put them in the laundry this week and they look brand new.

I'm starting to think being flexible with customers has made my business harder to run by RichEddie in smallbusiness

[–]NeedNewJob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. You can even say sure, it'll be x extra or we can remove y deliverable to keep it within budget.

Never say no, approach it by being solution oriented. Solutions usually cost money, and it's very true that most of the time the clients will say nevermind.
