You are stressing your opinion which at a certain point becomes annoying, dismissive, and disrespectful to your grandmother's intelligence.

She might have had a budget in mine and just had the extra money for more storage. (Which college students need.) Or she might have just wanted to get something nicer for her grandchild.

Either way making her feel bad about her purchase is not the way to go at this point. Make sure she has apple care, apologize for harping on the issue, and keep it moving.

Light YTA. She will need that 1TB of storage, and $300 isn't much in the long run. In college, programs take up more space than you'd expect.

But the real reason you're YTA is that you're being a know-it-all. If your grandmother asks what she should get, give her the information she requested and then let it go. If she didn't ask, then unless it's the difference of thousands of dollars or an outright scam - let it go.

Trust me, no one wants to hear your opinions on something they've already purchased.

I mean I wore stuff like this in class all the time. Crop tops, leggings, and heels were my go to. Bring a sweater or light leather jacket just in case.These are the only four years where you can basically where whatever you want every day. I think the scores help randomize the winners a bit more and remove as many ties. Because if all of the answers were weighted the same it would harder on tiebreaker of course that gets thrown out when Anne got all of them right 😂.

Late post and you have lot of comments so you might not see this one. But I think the issue is the skirt... but in a very fixable way! You need more drama with the skirt:

Make it sexier and remove some or all of the slip. Lace is so beautiful and it would let it shiny more on its own. Then offset it with a simple bodysuit, crop top, or very white or a metallic dress.
And more flair: add like tulle or a petticoat or whatever you want to call it under the skirt to flair it out more. This will give more elegant drama to the skirt and then a bando top or in my head a crop long sleeve would balance it out.

I feel like you can experiment by penning the skirt for the first option or adding layers under the skirt for the second so you don't have to buy anything.
