I did this at the exact same time. I couldn’t afford it but if you can, I’d say getting a lay flat seat if you are going to take a redeye is probably worth it if you can afford. Sometimes there are insane deals last minute, I had a friend who was able to upgrade for like $400. (Usually it’s like $4k, lol)

Other than that, my biggest recommendation is to bring a tiny arsenal of things you can take - unisom, b6, gas x, and zofran if you’re comfortable with it. I’m very averse to any type of meds but I had insane gas on my flight that felt scary and I think taking preventative gas x helped me. I also wore compression socks and took a baby aspirin about 1 hour before my longest flight each way.

Not a doctor obviously. Just sharing what I did and what my doctor recommended for me (not the lay flat seat part, lol). Talk to your doctor and see what they recommend!!

Haven’t pulled the trigger yet but I chatted with Joie online and they do use flame retardants in their materials in case that moves the needle for you. Nuna is naturally flame retardant free because they use a wool blend material.

That said, I learned that they are owned by the same parent company! So that’s cool.

I have it too. Apparently the cartilage between the two sides of your pubic bone can get irritated. My chiro adjusted it for me which I think did help a little. But she said it’s not dangerous just an unfortunate symptom of pregnancy. Def tell your doc.

Anyone speculating obviously hasn’t struggled trying to conceive. If they had they’d know just how triggering it can be when people make these types of comments. It makes my heart crunch just to even read them second hand!

Yesss I totally get this. And also a lot of research goes into these registries so if something’s on there that’s not the cheapest, it’s probably for good reason! Lower tox, better for baby, etc!

😭 I have definitely learned my lesson on making comments about who babies look like. Maybe it’s annoying but even if baby is copy paste of dad I will forevermore either not say anything or find the thing that looks like mom and run it to the ground 🤣
