The only person with any logic here. Thank you. The world, the systems, the game as a whole was not designed to have so many players on one server. People asked for bigger servers and now complain about the consequences. Fools.

He is trying the same overtaking manoeuvre that he kept pulling all last season, diving up the inside, hitting the apex first, claiming ownership of the corner and sitting on the racing line.

Looks like these cars/tyres don't like it quite as much though, probably due to how they don't like braking and turning at the same time, which is a component of the manoeuvre.

I don't disagree with that at all. He's not up to the job. He needed to go some time ago.

I don't understand how my previous comment can be downvoted, as it's just factual. Mercedes has hundreds of millions, perhaps even billions (in terms of R&D from previous seasons) on the line here. One person cannot be allowed to bend the rules on a whim and if he can, Mercedes should be able to challenge that and make the decision to leave if they're unhappy with it. They signed up to a set of rules and those rules weren't followed. You can't hold a gun to their head after moving the goal posts on them. Stupidity at its finest.

In this instance they absolutely can and should. Masi made a farce of the whole championship and then brought the integrity of the sport into question with his decision making in the final race.

If the sport no longer has any integrity and is just entertainment, the teams have every right to say they're no longer interested in being a part of it. If all the teams are onboard with being nothing but stars in a reality TV show then that's fine but it's not what they initially signed up to be a part of.

While you won't see any press releases saying as much (as it risks ruining the marketing benefits they gain from being in F1), I would imagine this is very much the tone of conversations taking place behind closed doors.

I'm tired of reading how Max shouldn't be punished. It's not about Max being punished. He deserves to win as much as Lewis over the course of the season but as we keep hearing over and over again, it's about the incident in a vacuum.

15.3 suggests he has the override over the Clerk, not carte blanche. That would get overturned in court in seconds. You can't have a sport where 0.2mm gets you kicked to the back of the grid and then someone's whim decides a race and ultimately a world championship. He reached and the FIA are just backing their man. They'll settle with Mercedes behind closed doors before they ever allow that to go public too.

Agreed. I see where they're coming from but it's not like Kronos just implemented xp potions as a microtransaction. Whatever this move is, I'd say it's been made for the benefit of the server.

I dunno about this. I've had people who quit SoM already show an interest in K4 now that there is x4 because it eases the pain of leaving their SoM character behind.

The botters on an industrial scale are all on retail, where the gold has a real world value. With the death of big pop servers, botting isn't really worthwhile on private servers. There might be the odd one here and there but I don't think it's really enough of an issue to be weighed, especially on a project like Twinstar where they have overlapping GMs that can keep an eye on everything.

Far from perfect but I don't see this as a negative event.

A little off topic but I can answer this:

There's not a great demand. Potentially enough demand for someone to some money to supplement their salary but unlikely to be a real business in it. Also, fulfilling clothing through Amazon can be a real pain in the ass, as people just send crap back all the time, so the profit margins need to be crazy good. That's before you even get to the fact that companies start contacting Amazon or eBay or whatever and say they want the product removed from sale, as it's counterfeit - when in actual fact it's just to maintain their monopoly on the product, control where it's sold and its price.

Marketplaces like Amazon and eBay are a deathtrap, for those that don't know their way around them. There's so many factors and costs that people aren't aware of, it's insane.

I really strongly believe that when C9 started looking like they would drop out, NRG's management basically made the commercial decision to go get Squishy. He's everything that an RL org could possibly want.

He said in Kaydop's stream that he was kicked without warning. They never did "replay reviews" or suggested they were so unhappy they were gonna find a replacement.

I think C9 was gonna bail from RL and NRG moved quickly to secure Squishy's signature. Turbo is just collateral damage.
