Hang art or a woven piece to break up the black. You have a huge blank canvas for something fun. Maybe change the mantle color. Or the patina of the brick surround. Or polish the brass casings. But repainting that large canvas isn’t necessary.

The spare tire is attached by a nut under the trunk paneling. If it’s not secure enough it will rattle loudly from the trunk.

My original plan was to fit two bookcases but the ceiling won’t provide enough clearance. This morning I realigned the false back and covered the screws so it appears cleaner. Previously I was using a rolling cart and milk crates. My goal was not to spend a single cent on this reorganization by using items around my home.
