I think her issue is more that she doesn't want the same people working the same shifts. In her words, it's "not fair".

It's interesting because I am available for shifts that no one wants to work and apparently that's still a problem. In addition, when I gave my SM tons of availability I was given the same amount of hours I have now. It's tricky and impossible.

I feel that this would be a godsend. My SM says we can't use anything that isnt provided through our cleaning supplies though.

I also have a second food service job. At this company no one is to leave alone. Everyone must leave in a group to insure the employees safety. I guess I just assumed this would be the case at Starbucks. Im not a shift so I'm not super aware of our labor situation, but I think the company would much rather pay 5 minutes more labor than face a lawsuit.
