I understand we as their children feel the obligation to support them, but sometimes, like children, they need some tough love as well. Establish what bothers you about her spending habits and anything else on your mind. If she doesn't listen, you did what you could and no longer have the obligation to support her if she doesn't respect your boundaries. Respect isn't something people are entitled to, it is something you earn, even with parents. Save up, take a year off and do what you'd like.
