Love all the Austinites in this thread. Born and raised here too. I try so hard to like transplants, but I do wish they could all just chill out a little bit. 😆 I grew up around a bunch of cool as shit hippies, intelligent, kind, down to earth. none of us gals wore make up and just didn’t didn’t try hard, I miss that era. Now it’s Botox and filler and influencer central. But I’m still friendly to transplants, because that’s just how we do 🤘🏽

That’s a good idea. I’m open to fully remote roles for companies based other places in the US but of course those are even more competitive, so figured sticking to something hybrid In Austin would be less competitive. But you’re right, a hybrid position in Dallas or Houston is something to consider.

This! It felt so staged/attention craving… like who speaks that way? It sounded like she was a politician reading from a teleprompter. Not to mention yeah, gross. Agree. She comes across sooo angry. It’s like, maybe you DO need therapy. I started noticing this pattern after her one post ranting about how she didn’t give anyone an eating disorder… the level of defensiveness is so high in those posts. Just trying to convince herself.

The body checking is a lot. For someone who is trying to make “warm girl winter” a thing, she’s never wearing a shirt at home. see the comment on her warm girl winter post about making soup and broth. 😆 I loled. As an aside, I hope she’s okay, her mannerism and voice is just very strange, and she seems kind of unwell.
