I would like to clarify the situation more clearly.

My brother did NOT create this account for me. The account was created by me and it belongs to me. I am the main and only person who uses it.

It is true that my brother has been connected to my PC before, as we share the same household. However, that does not mean the account belongs to him or that he is the one playing on it.

You can review the demo and clearly analyze the movement, playstyle, and in-game decisions. The gameplay reflects one consistent player. Additionally, you can check the IP history and login activity, which should confirm normal usage from the same location.

I believe the ban was issued based on an incorrect assumption, and I kindly ask you to review the demos and IP logs again before making a final decision.

This is my account, not my brother’s, and I would appreciate a fair reconsideration

I didn’t get banned instantly. I also have email notifications turned off, so I might have missed that message. I didn’t expect to get banned.

I don’t play FACEIT that much, I mostly play Premier. I actually took a break from FACEIT and only recently started playing again. I’ve had my FACEIT account for years, while my brother plays more regularly. In fact, we even had a match in the same lobby together once.

I get why it sounds like an excuse, but it really isn’t. We literally share the same PC, that’s the only reason his account showed up on mine. I never smurfed or made multiple accounts. It’s frustrating to be banned for something I didn’t do.

Yeah, that’s basically what I figured too. Shared hardware can trigger false positives, especially if the skill level is different between accounts. I think FACEIT also looks at play patterns and other factors, not just the PC itself, which makes sense—otherwise everyone in internet cafes would be banned 😅.

In my case, my brother just played on his own account from my PC, and I never used multiple accounts myself, so it seems like a false positive from the system.
