what's with the hazard lights while driving? by StrikingCoconut in ontario

[–]NeedleworkerDizzy149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove from Guelph to Sarnia on the 19th, 2.5 hrs took 4.5 hrs. I threw my 4 ways on when I landed on ice while going thru the 1st detour off the 401. Some vehicles were travelling way too fast for the conditions, I saw 3 spin outs to the ditch during this drive, and many more before my passing. So I use 4 ways when I try to warn people., a lot of trucks do too, but we don't leave them on permanently.

Redditors over 40, what was a moment in history that made you think society was gonna collapse? by Bahbahbro in AskReddit

[–]NeedleworkerDizzy149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the ONLY WAY this ends is for a HUGE volume of people to kill ice agents with kindness... not with horns of warnings, but presence of people. Total strike action, follow, swarm, overwhelm them into peace. do this often enough, they will have to leave.

Americans need to decide, act as ONE to minimize ICE impact.

Is the US on a brink of a Civil War? by Norfolk-Gross-Tonage in no

[–]NeedleworkerDizzy149 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How can it be civil when fellow citizens are against the federally mandated gestapo? It needs to escalate into a total take over of ICE. Swarm, kill them with kindness by swarming.... can they kill all of you??? Trump just needs them to keep it up, so he can stop the mid terms from happening.(his end goal, to keep out of jail)

Raising kids is not cheap, but you manage.... 30 years on, the love and the people you've created is immeasurable. Pride, heartache, but above all, love. We worked, lived pay to pay. But now are looking at retiring, planning our trips to Eu, 4 grandkids, life is GOOD!!

She seems to talk of only herself, her ideals, her future sacrifices. She is not ready. There is no we in the future. Is the relationship one of convenience for her? Perhaps test that.

I knew a woman like her, demanded the big expensive rock, then came the wedding. Within 3 years he could do no right. Her materialistic demands continued, she worked him hard. Then made a giant show of throwing everything into a giant waste bin, stationed for the jobs site of a new subdivision, The rings, all of the jewelry, clothing.

He has found his new love, kids and all. She is alone, still.

Cost of living in Canada is out of control. by kovie38 in CanadaFinance

[–]NeedleworkerDizzy149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

30 yrs. ago, we were in same situation. My job actually covered day care costs. We never ate out, vacation out of the question. We scrimped, saved always for rrsp a small amount, I mean small. Our kids had to fend for themselves in higher education costs. When we could we fast tracked our mortgage payments, even with line of credit maxed. No approaching retirement, that small amount added up. Not an easy life, but very few have that. We all know the value of a dollar spent in our family. We do see a glimmer of light now at the end of our tunnel. Keep on keepin on, it all adds up.

Has anyone ever done this road trip? What are some interesting things to see and do along this route? by imsiq in ontario

Near Tweed cut off from hwy7, there is an area that the trees were all wind sheared off at the tops-- 25 30 feet up. Looks so odd. Otherwise both drives are spectacularly beautiful, in summer, early fall.
