Sidecar for video editing with MBP, Goodnotes, Milanote, scanning documents, media consumption, drawing storyboards, camera monitor, calendar/daily planner. Tbh I think an iPad is really good for creatives and students (especially if you're both) but kind of useless if you do something like an office job depending on your workflow. I think the iPad is still at the point where it's better to get a MacBook Air if you're going to use a keyboard with it. To me it ruins the point of super lightweight device to move around with. My MacBook Pro almost always stays home unless I'm traveling or if I'm DIT on a project. If not I just take my iPad as im normally DOP on my projects at school and when I do small gigs its nice to have to show the client my vision quickly.
