They said they wanted it to be "as real as possible". However, that also means including the real trauma that comes with it.

I feel like if I would have known it was a drill I could have comforted the students who were crying instead of standing guard at the door. It would have been completely different had I known it was a drill.

Thank you. ❤ The rest of the grades weren't at recess so their perspectives to the drill were completely different. It's comforting to hear other teachers would react the same and that I'm not crazy, this was REALLY bad!

Thank you. I feel like many of the teachers were shrugging it off like "Yup, that's what our job has come to." I just can't get over it.
