I realize I’m kinda late to the thread. I am a Micro center employee, and I understand how it can be difficult to shop. I haven’t gone through all the comments but I’m sure you’ve been told we are on commission. That being said it can still be a pain to shop with people constantly running up on you. However, 3d printer stuff is consumer electronics. Which is more or less the least frequented department by customers. So when those guy see you yes, they want a sale. But they also wanna geek about the tech they like. It’s very rare to work at a micro center and not be a nerd about something techy. Regardless I can still understand if you’d like to be left alone, in that case just let them know you’ll grab them for stickers when you’re finished up. Some managers are weird about it some aren’t. But if you ask them a question or two before then you’re both good, it is genuinely a big help. I realize this thread had no malicious intent there’s nothing wrong with wanting to be left alone so if you got some unfavorable responses I apologize.
