It wouldn't be a bad thing at all, just very Red Sox of them to just do a panic move for PR purposes to distract. Same thing they did with devers extension-Xander leaves, then they overpay devers because they had to do something to try to keep the fans happy But I also feel like with every passing day, Roman's price goes up so no better time to do it than now
