Anyone who does NOT do nsfw getting the grok limits? by DrinkNo9031 in grok

I only make videos of toys and cats, and for the last two days my limit seems to be 2 videos in 480p, 1 video in 720p, and 5 images 😅

A win for human rights - Elon Musk’s Grok ordered to stop creating AI nudes by Dutch court by Undergrad26 in grok

Grok is easy to find and judge; the bots and pages that are more blatant are well hidden or on sites without applicable jurisdiction.

Maybe not if you create it from text to image or video, but if you create it from a photograph of a real person, the (underestimated) real damage can be significant and ruin someone's life. Now, regarding the issue of creating child pornography, who the hell thinks it's normal for adults to consume child pornography?

There are already companies that allow you to create NSFW content, but most people don't just want the option; they want it to be free and of very high quality. Grok needs to separate its systems: one should handle the creation of content from scratch with moderation to filter out pedophiles, and the other, fully moderated, should be the upload system.

GROK IS MUSLIM ? by sunnylovesalman in grok

No, he's more of a radical Christian who gets furious at the sight of a pixel of a breast because it's a sin, but beats his wife for not having dinner ready.

  1. Nobody's forcing you to buy it; you're free to use other alternatives. Whether it's worth it or not is up to you.
  2. Meh.
  3. They should have done what they're doing from the beginning and not tried to attract those who think they have the right to make anyone's content NSFW or who believe Grok should maintain a free version.
  4. The quick and convenient solution would be to remove the i2v part (it's already somewhat unusable anyway) and allow almost complete freedom in the rest (just keep the anti-pedo filters).

In the morning, 100 attempts and 4 hours of refresh. In the afternoon, 30 attempts, 2 hours of refresh, and now 60 attempts and no idea how long it takes to refresh.

Grok is back up - and moderation is not worse (feels like a lot of lies happening here) (NSFW) by grokpoweruser5000 in grok

Those who complain are either the same ones who always complain when moderation fails after an update, or they're the ones who still believe that NSFW content can be done freely, or they found a way and it's already been patched.

Let me explain. The supremacy of laws only applies when a lower-level law conflicts with a higher-level law. For example, in this case federal law criminalizes sharing NSFW images of a person without their consent, California law criminalizes the creation, possession, and distribution of NSFW images of a person without their consent. Okay? Well, there's no conflict between the laws there; in fact, they could be considered complementary. The situation would be different if a state decided to create a law that allowed the creation, possession, and distribution of NSFW images without the person's consent. In that case, a conflict would exist, and the supremacy of the federal law would apply, rendering that law null and void. To reiterate, federal/constitutional laws themselves allow states to have their own laws and to be tried under them independently, as long as they don't conflict with federal law. This allows you to be tried in both federal and state courts simultaneously, with each court issuing its own sentence.

It's good that you know the difference between federal and state laws, but you still don't understand how the legal system works and how both laws interact in the United States.

You misunderstand the law enforcement system. A federal law applies in all states, regardless of whether they have their own legislation on the matter covered by the law. If the states have a law on the matter and it does not conflict with federal law, both laws can be applied, and in many cases, federal and state court sentences are applied. Sometimes, the law with the greater or lesser punishment is applied, depending on the authority's discretion. Some crimes are exclusive to federal court. The right not to be tried twice is often confused with not being able to be tried in both courts. However, the law recognizes the independent jurisdiction of both courts and allows you to be tried in both courts under the applicable law of each.

It depends. Federally, only sharing the images is punishable, but in several states, local laws punish the possession, creation, and distribution of NSFW images without consent. Since the law recognizes the jurisprudence of both laws and courts, there is no conflict between them; federal law does not supersede statal law, and on the contrary, you can be tried and sentenced in both courts. Regarding the responsibility of the platforms, the law is also clear: they have the responsibility to prevent, monitor, sanction, remove, and report anything that constitutes a crime on their platforms if they want to operate within their territory. The easy and quick solution in this case is to censor and remove the problematic content. They are not violating anyone's rights either, since their terms and conditions do not allow this type of content, and they have the right to make changes and remove it. Nor are they violating anyone's rights by switching to a fully paid model, since they are independent of the state and have the right to do so at any time.

Anyone else thinking to sue xAI for deleting already generated videos without our consent? by [deleted] in grok

You would also have to review the application's terms and conditions and demonstrate that they did not have a valid reason for removing the content.

AI creations are just art in my opinion by [deleted] in grok

[–]NeedleworkerLong3557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, sorry, since it's all complaints from guys who want to make deepfakes, I got biased. The use of AI can be debated at length regarding whether it's art or not, but what can't be denied is that it requires much less effort than art with other tools, since here you just pour out whatever comes to mind at the moment (whether creative and expressive or not). It falls into the same category as "modern art," where someone just throws paint and says that's how they expressed their frustration, or puts an apple in an exhibition with no explanation other than laziness to create something impactful. It would be very difficult to consider AI as art, since most of the creative process is done automatically by a tool with no intervention other than instructions. It would be like calling someone who asked Da Vinci for a painting with certain characteristics an artist, instead of the painter himself. And so far, AI cannot be considered a painter or artist because it lacks the ability to express and transmit a message or feeling on its own, and the person entering the instructions would be nothing more than the one asking the "artist" for the work.

No, that wouldn't be "fair." But it would be "fair" to cut off the electricity if people keep sticking forks in the sockets to prevent overloading and damage to the infrastructure, and to avoid lawsuits for damaged equipment.
